AKC Standard Poodles, AKC Old English Sheepdogs & Sheepadoodles
This contract is to assure that the puppies produced by The Sheepadoodle Shack will receive appropriate veterinary care, nutrition, excercise, attention, appropriate up to date vaccines and worming if needed and will be kept from harm or neglect.
Therefore, the "buyer" agrees to provide all necessary veterinary services, will protect from injury and will not allow the animal to roam free in the community. "Buyer" shall maintain the dog in a fenced in area with adequate shelter or inside home with regular exercise. The "buyer" agrees to pay $___________ deposit, at time of either joining our "waiting list" or choosing their puppy, which ever comes first, to reserve the right to purchase this puppy or puppy of choice in order of "waiting list". The deposit will be placed towards the total purchase price of $______________for the puppy. The balance is to be paid 3 weeks prior to shipping of puppy via options available on website. If picking up puppy at our location balance is to be paid in "CASH ONLY" at the time of pick up. "NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED", PLEASE SEE OUR WEBSITE FOR OPTIONS OF PAYMENT. This animal and registration papers "if any", applying to this animal will remain the property of the "seller" until final payment is made.
Deposits are "NON-REFUNDABLE", but can be transferred to a future puppy/litter depending on the situation, which will be discussed between "buyer" and seller". Every effort has been made to ensure that the puppy you've selected is healthy at the time of purchase. To keep this guarantee offered to you in force, you MUST HAVE YOUR PUPPY EXAMINED BY A LICENSED VETERINARIAN OF YOUR CHOICE NO LATER THAN 7 BUSINESS DAYS from the date you receive your puppy. During the initial exam should your veterinarian find the puppy to be of poor health risk or detect any physical health issues that would require further veterinary care other than required immunizations and /or treatment for any type of parasite or bacteria, whether, internal or external, YOU MUST CONTACT US WITHIN 48 HOURS.
A diagnosis of Coccidiosis, Giardia, parasites or any other bacterial infection does not render your puppy unhealthy. This guarantee does not cover the above mentioned conditions. "Seller" will not be responsible for veterinarian fees charged for the initial exam or any other veterinary services. If you neglect to take your puppy to a veterinarian for this initial examination, you will ACCEPT IMMEDIATE AND FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE PUPPY'S HEALTH AND THIS GUARANTEE WILL BE NULL AND VOID. In accordance with the above, we also guarantee your puppy for a full (7) seven days from the date you take possession of your puppy against Parvovirus, Distemper, and Hepatitis. In the event your puppy does not pass the initial exam or contracts any of the aforementioned, you must immediately notify "The Sheepadoodle Shack".
The puppy and all related materials must be returned to the "seller" accompanied by a legible written and signed veterinary report, a complete history, lab report(s) and or pathology report(s) from a licensed lab. If your puppy is diagnosed wih parvovirus or Distemper, we will replace your puppy with the first available puppy of the same breed and sex, as soon as one becomes available, however, NO PART OF THE PURCHASE PRICE WILL BE REFUNDED.
In addition, your puppy may be returned should he/she develop a life threatening genetic defect, again as long as all testing results are provided to "seller" to send to their veterinarian and the conclusion is confirmed by all parties involved. The puppy will be replaced just as soon as one of equal value is available, but "NO MONEY WILL BE REFUNDED". Should your puppy die from either Parvovirus or Distemper, we will also replace your puppy with the first available puppy of the same breed and sex, as soon as one becomes available, unless both parties "seller" and "buyer" come to the conclusion to substitute the breed if all are in agreement. Again, "NO PART OF THE PURCHASE PRICE WILL BE REFUNDED".
In addition, if your puppy is found to have a genetic disorder or illness that it can live with, but the "buyer" is not happy with the illness, however becomes totally attached to the puppy, the "seller" will allow "buyer" to keep the sick puppy as long as the "buyer" agrees to care for it, but "seller" will still replace puppy as soon as one of same breed and sex becomes available unless otherwise discussed and agreed upon another breed which may be available.
Our puppies are GUARANTEED AGAINST "GENETIC DISEASE OR DISORDERS" FOR UP TO 24 MONTHS (2 YRS OF AGE) from date of birth, not from date of purchase of receipt of puppy. IF GENETIC DISEASE OR DISORDER IS FOUND AND SUBSTANTIAED BY LICENSED VETERINARIAN, "SELLER" WILL REPLACE THE PUPPY TO "BUYER" WITH THE OPTION TO KEEP THE PUPPY THEY HAVE BECOME ATTACHED TO AS LONG AS THE PROPER MEDICAL CARE IS PROVIDED BY THE "BUYER" AT "BUYERS" EXPENSE.
In the event that the puppy becomes ill or dies in the breeders care after a deposit or payment has been made, "seller" agrees to give the "buyer" choice puppy from the next available litter as soon as one becomes available.
Our puppies, whether AKC Standard Poodle, AKC Old English Sheepdog or Sheepadoodle pups are sold specificially with a "SPAY/NETUER AGREEMENT" WHICH MUST BE ADHERED TO BY THE TIME THE PUPPY REACHES THE AGE OF 6 MONTHS OF AGE. Proper paperwork from the associated veterinarian shall be forwarded via email or mail to the "seller" by "buyer" once this clause has been adhered to. No excuses and no exceptions unless previous agreement has been made between "seller" and buyer".
IF AT ANY TIME THE "BUYER" BECOMES ILL OR ENTERS INTO APPROVED CIRCUMSTANCES (APPROVED BY THE "SELLER" USUALLY ILLNESS) THAT THEY CAN NO LONGER KEEP THEIR PUPPY, WE ASK THAT THE "BUYER" IMMEDIATELY CONTACTS THE "SELLER" FIRST TO DISCUSS THE POSSIBILITY OF THE "SELLER" TAKING THE PUPPY BACK TO RE-HOME OR IF WE ARE NOT ABLE TO TAKE THE PUPPY BACK (AT BUYER'S EXPENSE) THEN WE ASK THAT YOU LET US ASSIST YOU IN RE-HOMING THE PUPPY UNLESS WE CANNOT DO SO AT THE TIME. WE WILL DO EVERYTHING WITHIN OUR POWER NOT TO HAVE ONE OF OUR PUPPIES GO TO A POUND OR RESCUE.
